The acting as the chairman of FGI Dmitry Parfenenko told journalists why the State property fund refused to recognize results of competition on sale of the Odessa port plant.
According to him, the fund made this decision on the basis of opinion of a contest committee which refused to recognize "Nortima" the winner.
"On the basis of the solution of a contest committee we recognize competition cancelled", - Parfenenko declared.
He emphasized that the argument for this decision was that as a result of obstacles to privatization process, including judicial, interest to object is strongly undermined, the price of privatization was underestimated.
"You see, what pressure is put upon FGI and a contest committee. Judicial definitions, instructions of the State Office of Public Prosecutor, separate opinions of members of the commission - all this was directed on reducing OPZ cost. Unfortunately, these objectives were achieved", - Parfenenko told.
Besides, as the head of FGI noted, the contest committee saw signs of coordinated actions in behavior of participants.
"I consider that in behavior of buyers elements simply arrangement which were undertaken to reduce the object price" are looked through, - the representative of FGI noted.
According to Parfenenko, the fair price of OPZ had to make 8-10 billion hryvnias.
The chairman of FGI emphasized that OPZ remains in state ownership and will wait for more favorable conditions for carrying out privatization.
