So, on November 2 in the Ship area have begun to mount network of street lighting on one of the most dangerous sections of Bogoyavlensky Avenue–on «stage». The contractor has started works between streets as Mayachna and Mendeleyeva. According to the project, on «stage» more than 140 columns with new LED-lighting will be mounted.
- All know that «stage» is very dangerous site, - Senkevich who has checked work flow has noted. - This section of Bogoyavlensky Avenue isn't lit, here repeatedly there were a road accident, including with loss of human life. Residents of the Ship area asked to solve this long-term problem. Until the end of the year all amount of works will be complete.
- At first support planned to establish on the center thus to light the road from two parties. But in connection with the planned laying of a trolleybus branch from a ring at Victory Square to «Zhukovsky» rings the decision to carry columns at the edges of the road has been made, and the contact network for trolleybuses will be tense later. At the beginning of the next year design works will be begun, I think, to the middle of year we will begin and directly laying of the line, and by 2018 instead of promises people will receive the trolleybus to the Zhukovsky ring, - the mayor has explained.
Head of KP «Capital construction of the city of Nikolaev» Egor Bedakov has told that concrete columns which establish now bought in Bila Tserkva, at the same time considering that designs will be used not only for lighting, but also for laying of a trolleybus branch. Financing of the project is carried out from the city budget, and its cost will make 4,8 million hryvnias.
- Only for yesterday have mounted more than 10 columns, - Bedakov has added. - We aren't tied to weather conditions:there is a drilling rig, doing deepenings on 2,7 meters, then support are established, concreting will be made then.
Let's remind, earlier it was reported that the mayor Alexander Senkevich wants to order from the Kiev company transport strategy for Nikolaev for 3 million hryvnias.
