The outbreak of flu H1N1 is recorded among students of one of medical schools of Moscow, the chief health officer of the Russian Federation Gennady ONISHCHENKO reported.
According to its information, the diagnosis "flu H1N1" is confirmed at three pupils of the Moscow state physician - stomatologic university (MGMSU). G. ONISHCHENKO added that the diseased lived in one room of a student's hostel of higher education institution.
According to RIA Novosti news agency, in the Moscow infectious diseases hospital No. 1 about 40 students of MGMSU with symptoms of a virus infection were delivered. However the diagnosis of new flu at them isn't confirmed yet.
The rector MGMSU Oleg YANUSHEVICH I reported that occupations at faculty of secondary medical education are suspended. According to him, 22 of 35 pupils of faculty are hospitalized, the remained 13 students are on house quarantine. O. YANUSHEVICH noted that in a student's hostel where the diseased lives, sanitary processing is carried out.
The chief health officer reported that today the number of the cases of flu H1N1 registered in Russia reached 807. G. ONISHCHENKO noted that 562 Russians caught during foreign trips.
