The judge of Shevchenkovsky court of Kiev issued the resolution with which forbade inhabitants of the capital to interfere with construction near Sofia Kiyevskaya on Gonchara Street, 17-23.

The decision is passed still on August 10 on the case of the Investment — Construction Group limited liability company claim to a number of inhabitants of Kiev and public organization "I Am an Inhabitant of Kiev" about recognition of the right for building to Gonchara St. address, 17-23, and compensation of damage.

According to the document, inhabitants of the capital are forbidden "to make any actions directed on prevention of implementation by Investment — Construction Group limited liability company of construction to the address: Kiev, Gonchara St. 17-23, a housing estate with rooms of public appointment and the built-in parking according to the project documentation coordinated and approved in the corresponding order".
As representatives of the Keep Ancient Kiev organization note, only on October 15 respondents, again reconsidering case, incidentally came across the resolution of August 10. On existence of this document them didn't inform, the public organization claims. Activists emphasize that on August 10, 2009 the next claim to inhabitants only was accepted to consideration - it is a question of the requirement of the builder to allow it free implementation of construction works and to indemnify the loss allegedly caused to society which makes 540 thousand UAH
According to public organization, already for the third time the builder of JSC Investitsionno-stroitelnaya gruppa tries to affect by means of court inhabitants of Kiev who oppose scandalous building on Gonchara St., 17-23. Protest actions which will be organized a year by locals, aim at the termination of construction threatening with destruction of nearby ancient houses and Sofia Kiyevskaya.
Activists note that the resolution issued on August 10 deprives of inhabitants of Kiev of their constitutional law on protests against illegal building.This judgment contradicts St of 39 Constitutions of Ukraine which provides the right for free expression of the belief.
As reported the UNIAN, on July 22 JSC Investitsionno-stroitelnaya gruppa acting as the builder of a house on Olesya Gonchara St., 17-23, in the Shevchenkovsky district of Kiev, I declared that I don't intend to refuse continuation of building of object, despite of all barriers.
