In the near future it won't be possible to provide transit of the Russian and Caspian gas to Europe without Ukraine, - the ambassador of Ukraine in Turkey

No roundabout pipes, streams and agreements will allow to do in the near future without Ukraine in a context of ensuring transit of the Russian and Caspian gas to Europe, the plenipotentiary ambassador of Ukraine in Turkey Sergey Korsunsky considers.

"Even if to present that all Russian "streams" are constructed, needs of Europe for gas will be that by then that Ukraine, undoubtedly, will reserve the status of the main transitor if, certainly, at that time the Ukrainian infrastructure conforms to necessary standards of reliability and safety", - he emphasized in article for "A mirror of week".

According to the ambassador of Ukraine in Turkey, reliable technological support of transit process, implementation of the Memorandum Ukraine - EU and further integration into the European power space, will help Ukraine to keep strong positions in a power market.

Besides, according to the diplomat, Ukraine should develop actively cooperation with neighbors, in particular with Turkey.

So, the ambassador of Ukraine in Turkey is convinced that the Ukrainian producers of pipes and compressor stations could take direct part in construction of pipelines in the future through Turkey.
