Sergey Bereznoy, the employee of the museum, the senior scientific editor of the working group of the regional interdepartmental commission of the immortalized victims of wars and political repressions, left on a place and found bones of the soldier of Wehrmacht buried in 1944 - together with the victim his personal counter was dug.
- Judging by a counter, the serviceman was a machine gunner. The remains of a machine-gun tape and set of the sleeves buried near the unknown soldier testify to it, - Ivan Snytko, the senior research associate of the state inspectorate for protection of monuments of culture in the Nikolaev area tells.

Sergey Bereznoy shared historic facts and reported that for the last 8 years remains of 100 thousand German soldiers were found in Ukraine.
In the Nikolaev area in October it is planned to take the buried remains on four objects.
