The European Union still didn't receive from Ukraine of written guarantees concerning stay of export of sunflower oil to EU countries before the end of investigation of incident with the polluted oil. About it to "The German wave" reported in European Commission.
The representative of the European commission Nina Papadulaki emphasized that the Ukrainian power already provided information on a course of investigation of incident and attempts to establish the primary source of pollution of sunflower oil.
However written guarantees of rather temporary stop of export as that was demanded by Brussels, from Kiev still didn't arrive.
According to Papadulaki, in Brussels hope that the reply of the Ukrainian party which would have to appear till evening of Tuesday, nevertheless will arrive.
"Otherwise all options are open. Up to introduction of a ban on oil import. But any decision it is yet accepted. We wait from the Ukrainian power of the last slice of information and guarantees", - Papadulaki noted.
In private conversations workers of the European device who supervise this business, say that Kiev has to be interested in faster completion of investigation as it will help to minimize possible negative consequences for image of the Ukrainian export production.
Meanwhile, scandal with the Ukrainian oil remains to one of the main subjects of public discussions in Greece. On Tuesday from - for "oil scandal" the head of the Greek Management of food safety of Evangelos Lazos retired, "The German wave" notes.
