Following the results of the IX International competition of movies and teleradio programs "Gold Georgy" which brought in Kiev on May 21-23, in the nomination "Documentary film" the second place was awarded to work of the Nikolaev author Fedor Levchenko.
In the movie "Death Road" shot by Fedor Levchenko together with the Center for public relations of Regional Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Nikolaev area, I there was a speech about growing quantity tragic cases on the highway M-14 (a route site between Nikolayev and Odessa). The movie sets thinking seriously over the events because many of the tragedies which have occurred there could be avoided.
The author of the movie was awarded by the diploma and the memorable sign "St.George's Ribbon". It should be noted that during an awards ceremony the special diploma and a memorable figurine for support of mass media and effective cooperation from mass media were handed over to the chief of the Nikolaev regional Regional Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine the general - to the militia major Anatoly Naumenko. Especially pleasantly that it was only of all chiefs of the regional Departments of Internal Affairs of Ukraine who in this competition received an award.
As Olga Perederenko noted fulfilling duties of the head of department of public relations of Regional Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in the Nikolaev area, it was very pleasant to it to receive an award for Anatoly Naumenko because it really pays much attention to work from mass media, he gave essential support in creation of this movie. Soon this movie will be broadcast on some Nikolaev TV channels.
Representatives took part in competition from 10 countries, and not only from the neighboring countries. The subject of competitive programs was traditionally devoted to relationship of society and law-enforcement structures, informing of the population on activity of law-enforcement, judicial and control public authorities, cooperation of mass media and power structures in questions of covering of occurring events, creations of a positive image of the law enforcement officer.
