Crisis didn't force Ukrainians to refuse the Internet

The number of users of the Ukrainian Internet in October grew by 6% - to 10,1 million people.

The size of the Ukrainian audience of Internet users (the unique users who have made more than one viewing of the page for October, 2008 and users who looked through pages in October and last month) made 10,16 million people that is 6% more, than in September, 2008 in October, 2008. Such results are given in the report of the Ukrainian portal of Bigmir) by net "Global Statistics of the Ukrainian Internet" for October, 2008.

The geography of distribution of Internet users in October, 2008 shows that generally the Ukrainian Internet users live in the capital and in the large cities, - about 90% of the Ukrainian Internet users were the share of the first 8 regions of Ukraine in October.

Thus with a considerable separation from other regions Kiev of which in October, 2008 58,96% of all Internet users in Ukraine were the share is in the lead. Further follow: Odessa (6,43% of Internet users), Dnepropetrovsk (5,62%), Donetsk (5,41%), Kharkov (4,44%), Lviv (3,58%), Zaporozhye (2,47%), Crimea (2,70%). The total share of these regions made 30,65%.

Slightly less than 10% of Internet users were the share of other regions of Ukraine in Ukraine in October, 2008.

The general time spent by the Ukrainian Internet users in a global network, in October made more than 4,05 billion minutes that is 5,32% more, than in September, 2008
