Experts don't see direct threats of territorial integrity of Ukraine from other states. They told about it at meeting of a round table "The main threats and ways of ensuring national security of Ukraine".
"In my opinion, today direct threats of territorial integrity aren't present", - the director of the international programs of the Center Razumkova Valery Chaly told. In his opinion, discussion of Ukraine with the certain states about delimitation, differentiations of economic zones and shelves it is impossible to regard as territorial claims.
As Chaly considers, key threat for Ukraine are its internal, instead of external problems. The expert emphasized need of development of the coordinated position and strategy of national elite. At the same time he noted that no external threats can be regarded as real if on them there is no internal inquiry.
The main danger to the country, according to the expert - opportunity to become "a gray zone" between North Atlantic alliance and ODKB. "For Ukraine there is a threat is able to come to be a gray, buffer zone between two competing integratsionno - economic systems of safety. In the West is an European Union and NATO, and in the northern East - the Common economic space and the Organization of the contract of collective security", - Valery Chaly considers.
