In Nikolaev the Memory Bells exhibition devoted to memory of victims of the Holodomor

This week in Nikolaevsk the regional art museum of V. V. Vereshchagin the new exhibition "pamyati Kolokola" devoted to celebration of memory of victims of the Holodomor of 1932-1933 in Ukraine opened.

This exhibition carries artly - documentary character and consists both of archival documents, and of works of art of known Nikolaev artists of the XX century and modern artists.

Archival documents at an exhibition were provided by the State archive of the Nikolaev area and the Nikolaev regional museum of local lore. Works of art are taken from own funds of the regional art museum of V. V. Vereshchagin. About it reports a press - service YEAH.

At opening of an exhibition there was a chief of regional management of culture Mikhail Dimitrov, the chairman of the regional organization of People's movement of Ukraine Yury Didenko and the director of the museum of V. V. Vereshchagina Sergey Roslyakov, and also research associates and artists.

The chief of the department of culture Mikhail Dimitrov emphasized value of this exhibition for the city and nikolayevets. "Opening of an exhibition is only one of those actions which it is planned by the regional state administration to 75-й to anniversary of the scary tragedy of the Ukrainian people, and we invite all to take part in mournful procession and meeting - the requiem this Saturday, November 22 to honor memory of victims in those terrible times", - Mikhail Dimitrov declared.
