On December 11 at meeting of the State extraordinary antiepizootic commission at Nikolaevsk the City Council questions of strengthening of control were considered when transporting animals, raw materials and production of an animal origin, a trade ban in unspecified places by raw materials and products of an animal origin which didn't pass санветэкспертизы, control on observance veterinarno - sanitary requirements in city farms with the purpose to deliver a barrier to entering and distribution of a virus of the African plague of pigs in the city territory.

Fortunately, in Nikolaev the disease of the African plague of pigs isn't registered. But this disease in October of this year is revealed in Stavropol Krai the Russian Federation. Therefore by Public service of a veterinary medicine of Ukraine it is strengthened veterinarno - sanitary control when importing animals, raw materials and products of an animal origin (including in the form of hand luggage) from Stavropol Krai on the territory of Ukraine.
We will add that the veterinary service strengthened control and of work of svinokhozyaystvo in territory of Nikolaev which are transferred to "the closed mode" works. To each such economy it is assigned local hospitals of a veterinary medicine of districts of the city in which territory there are svinokhozyaystvo. Work on a vaccine - prevention of pigs from classical plague - both in farms, and in the private sector is constantly carried out. The disinfection equipment and means for sanitary processing of transport, rooms and territories is prepared.
The African plague can catch both house, and wild pigs regardless of breed or age.Mechanically people, pets of different types, flying insects, rodents who are in the epizootic center or on kontaminovanny a virus of the territory of different objects (slaughters, warehouses, refrigerators) can extend a virus. The African plague of pigs is characterized by high incidence and a lethality (98-100%). Treatment isn't developed and it is forbidden.
