Yesterday to 10 o'clock in the morning from counters of shops and the markets of Kharkov salt completely disappeared.
As reported in a number of outlets, over the last two days buyers got a monthly stock of salt. "If took at most two packs, now at once till 10-15 earlier", - the seller of Shopping Center Skazka Natalya Drozd told. On booths there were announcements "salts isn't present". At the same time with deficiency of salt in the city there was a deficiency of matches.

The agiotage and in Dnepropetrovsk is observed. "We don't manage to spread packing with salt on shelves. Thus we have no problems with deliveries", - noted the selling assistant of one of the ATB supermarkets.
As it became known, the rumor about fast closing of the largest producer of salt of the state enterprise "Artemsol", spread in the Poltava, Dnepropetrovsk and Kharkov areas which border with each other became the reason of sharp increase of demand for salt. Yesterday GP "Artemsol" acted with an official denial of information on closing of plant on production of salt. "Now GP "Artemsol" ships production in wide assortment to all consumers living both in Ukraine, and beyond its limits. Selling price - 41 kopeks for 1 kg of the packed-up salt - remains invariable from last year, and soon won't raise", - is spoken in GP statement.
Producers of the food iodated salt also claim that the prices of their goods won't change. "Any rise in prices for our production it isn't planned", - the commercial director of KNPP "Iodine" Oleg Nagorny assured.
According to some distributors, the situation which has developed in the Poltava, Dnepropetrovsk and Kharkov areas, shouldn't repeat in Kiev. "I don't see any excessive demand for salt in the capital and I don't see the reasons why it has to arise", - the commercial director of JSC Kviza Trade (Kishenya Is Great network) Dmitry Kashirin told. At the same time, according to the director of JSC O'key Ukraina Wojciech Gvardis, in the Kiev supermarket of a network salt is, but in recent days demand for it grew. "The cause is - excessive forcing of a situation in the press", - was declared by mister Gvardis.
