The Prosecutor General's Office brought criminal case against the former chairman of the Lvov appellate court Igor Zvarich for obviously untrue reports on commission of crime.
About it in interview to the Vysoky Zamok newspaper (Lviv) was reported by the head of an investigation team of the State Office of Public Prosecutor on business against Zvarich Vladimir Zherbitsky.
Criminal case is brought as regards 2 articles 383 of the Criminal code (obviously untrue reports to court, the prosecutor, the investigator or inquiry body about the commission of crime, the persons connected to charge of heavy or especially serious crime).
Proceedings are initiated after the consequence checked Zvarich's indications that he didn't hide from a consequence, and on December 12, 2008 was stolen by unknown from hospital.
Zvarich declared that unknown supported him till March 8, 2009, demanding repayment of 3 million hryvnias.
"This witnessing wasn't confirmed therefore against Zvarich the next criminal case" is brought, - Zherbitsky told.
The part 2 of article 383 of the Criminal code prescribes punishment in the form of imprisonment for term for a period of two till five years.
