The cabinet will allocate to the Prosecutor General's Office of 150 thousand hryvnias for fonoskopichesky examination of audio recordings ex-the major Gosokhrana Nikolay Melnichenko within investigation of criminal case about murder of the journalist Georgy Gongadze.
Such decision was made at government meeting on Wednesday, April 8, the Acting Minister of Finance Igor Umansky reported upon termination of government meeting.
As told the newspaper "The businessman - Ukraine" the deputy public prosecutor Alexander Shinalsky, thus Cabinet of Ministers compensated to GPU the means spent by it.
"This money is already used. We after all can't wait, while to us will allocate money, therefore paid (for examination) from the means, having restrained in something our employees, and waited when the Cabinet of Ministers will resolve compensation issue", - Shinalsky who supervises activity of department of financing and accounting in GPU told.
According to him, 150 thousand hryvnias were used on attraction to participation in examination of staff of the State Office of Public Prosecutor, and also foreign experts. "It is necessary to pay their journey, accommodation and food", - Shinalsky explained.
To Berlin on "the next stage of fonoskopichesky examination" the investigation team under the leadership of the Deputy public prosecutor Nikolay Golomsha left in the middle of March.
According to the head of an investigation team Alexander Harchenko, carrying out the international examination still proceeds, however representatives of GPU are present not at all its stages. "It is impossible to be present at all stages - too large volume of researches", - he explained.
Melnichenko who transferred to GPU originals of the audio recordings made in an office ex-the president Leonid Kuchma, in Washington, also took part in investigative actions on establishment of authenticity of audio recordings in Berlin.
"We were there more than five days. Within investigative actions records on a dictophone on which Kuchma and Litvin's words concerning Gongadze" were written down were carried out, - Melnichenko told the edition on April 8.
"Besides, in the course of work experts had many questions which they asked me.All this was removed on video and recorded in the protocol. Thus proofs which, I am sure are procedurally made out, soon will be cornerstone of Kuchma and Litvin's charges", - he declared.
According to the former major Gosokhrana, the following session of experts and an investigation team of GPU is planned for May.
"I hope, then GPU will receive documentary confirmation of that records are authentic, and will be able to bring charge to customers (Gongadze's murder)", - he told.
