The Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Yury Lutsenko hopes that in the next few days the murderer of the Odessa student Maxim Chaika will be detained.
He declared it today in interview to journalists in Kiev.
"Passes active search of serious crime suspected of commission. I think that in the next few days he will be detained", - Yu.Lutsenko told.
As it was already reported, 21 - the summer student of office of journalism of the Odessa National university of a name of Mechnikov, the activist of the patriotic youth movement "Sech" M. Chaika was lost from knife wounds on April 17. Hospitalized with knife wounds and his friend Andrey Dzeban.
The investigator of Seaside ROVS of Odessa investigates criminal case on signs of Art. 121 of UK of Ukraine - "Drawing the heavy injuries which have entailed death".
The personality of the murderer is identified.
The public organization "Free Odessa" declared that "murder came during collision between young Ukrainian patriots from "Sechi" and participants of the movement "Anti-fascist Action" to whom favors ex-the deputy of the City Council, the Homeland party leader Igor Markov".
The president Victor Yushchenko addressed on April 22 in the Ministry of Internal Affairs and SBU with the requirement of careful investigation of murder of the student. Staff of SBU also checks participation of the person suspected of murder of M. Chaika, in Rodina party.
