Today in the capital of Georgia of Tbilisi the next meeting of Council of ministers of internal affairs of the countries - participants of the Commonwealth of Independent States begins.
As reports Department of public relations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, within two days heads of law-enforcement departments of the Commonwealth will discuss a condition of implementation of interstate programs of fight against crime, in particular, a drug trafficking, illegal migration, human trafficking and prospects of development of further cooperation between the Ministries of Internal Affairs of the states - participants of the CIS in fight against the international transnational crime. The delegation of our state was headed by the Minister of Internal Affairs Yury Lutsenko. In the performance he noted that law-enforcement bodies of the states - participants of the CIS are old and reliable partners of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.
"There are no doubts in need of our contacts. Our personal meeting gives fine opportunity not only to discuss interaction questions, but also opportunity to focus each other about reforms in activity of law-enforcement bodies of the states of the CIS. We with big interest study and we adopt experience of other countries in this sphere", - Lutsenko emphasized.
Also the head of the Ukrainian Ministry of Internal Affairs noted that cooperation between participants of the summit of the CIS needs to be continued and further and noted the most priority directions of cooperation. First of all, it is the organization and carrying out joint large-scale quickly - preventive operations, providing the timely help in search of criminals and persons, missing persons, assistance in search of stolen motor transport and antiques subjects, disclosure of especially dangerous and resonant crimes committed by organized criminal groups with international relations and counteraction to the international terrorism.
According to Lutsenko, this meeting once again showed big interest of law-enforcement departments in further development and cooperation strengthening. "It is sure that our meeting and an exchange of the opinions, the agreements reached between us on cooperation deepening also will serve for the benefit of safety of our compatriots", - the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine noted.
For Lutsenko's further dialogue I invited present in September of this year to visit Ukraine and to take part in the Eighth ministerial conference on questions of migration which will take place under the auspices of the Council of Europe.
