Tonight during crossing Ukrainian - the Russian frontier the deputy chief of criminal investigation department of the Kharkov city militia Alexander Koshel who is suspected of participation in drug traffic is detained.
The prosecutor of Kharkov Evgeny Popovic reported about it.
"Alexander Koshel was detained by workers of a border service during border crossing in the night of October 20. It showed resistance to the employee of service at verification of documents", - E. Popovic told.
According to him, A. Koshel "passes on the case of drug traffic".
E. Popovic noted that the prosecutor's office is engaged in establishment of the procedural status of the detainee.
As it was reported, on October 12 of this year in SBU reported that during large-scale special operation of Security service of Ukraine and prosecutor's office of the city of Kharkov activity of interregional criminal group in the narcobusiness sphere which organizers there was acting staff of General Directorate of Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in the Kharkov area from among persons of the senior officers is exposed and stopped.
In particular, the deputy chief of department of fight against the illegal address of drugs of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Kharkov area who directly received drugs was the leader of an organized criminal group. Together with it the chief of office of criminal militia for minors of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kharkov which organized sale of drugs among youth in the Kharkov area is detained.
On October 8 of this year within the criminal case brought on materials of SBU by prosecutor's office of Kharkov on signs ч.2 by Art. 307 of the Criminal code of Ukraine (illegal production, production, acquisition, storage, transportation, transfer or sale of drugs, psychotropic substances or their analogs), the staff of SBU with involvement of fighters of the Center of special operations detained participants of criminal group "on hot". The investigation is carried.
