The public prosecutor Alexander Medvedko declares that with ex-the Minister of Internal Affairs Vasily Tsushko the status accused in the case of capture of the State Office of Public Prosecutor in May of last year is removed.
He told about it, answering questions of journalists, at a briefing on Wednesday.
He explained that the resolution on initiation of legal proceedings was transferred to Tsushko and his lawyer in Russia, however after Tsushko left from the territory of Russia and Medvedko made the decision to cancel this resolution.
"We agreed with Tsushko about a meeting, but that day when there arrived the investigator, he left. At the same time the resolution on attraction it as the accused was transferred and signed by it and his lawyer", - Medvedko told.
"Therefore I after all made the decision on cancellation of this resolution as in a certain measure the procedure provided Criminally - the procedural code" was broken, - he added.
At the same time Medvedko didn't specify where now there is Tsushko.
