Since the beginning of year in educational institutions of Ukraine 184 facts of bribery are exposed.
The head of the department of Public service of fight against economic crime of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Valery KORYAK reported about it today at a briefing.
According to him, 74 persons are brought to trial. Among them 30 heads of educational institutions and their deputies, 40 other officials and 4 students - on the bribery facts.
Besides, according to Century. The Koryak, in health system 84 crimes of this category are also recorded. "In hospitals and policlinics the facts of receiving bribes for issue of sick-lists and references without the actual carrying out medical examination, and also for treatment, prescription of medicines take place", - noted Century. Koryak.
Also he reported that in the current year in the sphere of the land relations 1752 crimes of an economic orientation connected with illegal operations with the earth are exposed.
Most of all such crimes it is exposed in the Crimea, the Dnepropetrovsk, Donetsk, Zakarpatye, Zaporozhye, Kiev, Lugansk, Lvov, Odessa areas and in Kiev.
Besides, Century. The Koryak noted that as a whole over 1700 crimes about bribery are documented. Thus considerably level of the officials exposed in bribery, and the sums of bribes grew. In particular, the Department of Public service on fight against economic crime found 42 bribes with the sum over 100 thousand UAH, 30 such crimes - with the sum over 30 thousand UAH and 105 - over 10 thousand UAH
Total amount of the documented bribes made over 27,7 million UAH, and the average sum of bribes reached nearly 24 thousand UAH. As a whole 1123 people, from which 181 officials of bodies of authority and management and over 220 - supervisory authorities are exposed.
Also, according to Century. The Koryak, eight employees of the central executive authorities, four officials of regional public administrations, 21 officials of the district state administrations, 8 city chairmen and 17 officials of city and regional councils are brought to trial for bribery, etc.
