The BP committee concerning justice suggests to provide a consent to arrest of the judge Yu.Koval

The committee of the Verkhovna Rada concerning justice suggests to provide a consent to arrest (a capture under guards) the judge of the Lvov appellate administrative court Igor Zvarycha and the judge of a local economic court of the Nikolaev Region Yury Koval. About it it is spoken in drafts of resolutions No. 3499 and No. 3500 submitted for consideration of parliament by the chairman of committee on questions of justice, the deputy from Party of Regions Sergey Kivalov. It also registered the draft of the resolution No. 3496 concerning release И.Зварыча from a position of the judge "in connection with violation of the oath of the judge by it".

We will remind, the Prosecutor General's Office brought criminal case against the judge I.Zvarycha for receiving a bribe of 100 thousand dollars. Yu.Koval was detained on November 16, 2007 in own office by employees of Public service on fight against economic crimes. They withdrew about 5 thousand dollars from the judge and released on recognizance. Then charges according to p.1 Art. 364 ("the abuse of power which has entailed heavy consequences") and were brought to Yu.Koval h. 2 Art. 368 ("receiving a bribe in especially large size") UK. The decision on excitement concerning Yu.Koval of criminal case was made by Pechersky regional court of Kiev on November 15, 2007. However on February 6 this year. The appellate court of Kiev cancelled this decision "in connection with insufficient evidential base".Nevertheless, GPU continued investigation and now demands arrest of mister Yu.Koval.
