11 Ukrainian seamen stayed in the port of Mumbai of 1,5 years on scrap metal

Today in 9.00 mornings on the Kiev time on the vessel "Radomyshl" which staid more than one and a half years on raid of the Indian port of Mumbai, the Ukrainian flag was lowered. The crew left a board of the ship and prepares for return to Odessa.

About this news agency"BRIDGE - Odessa"on Friday the captain - the coach of security service of JSC Ukrainskogo dunayskogo parokhodstva Alexander STEPANENKO reported.

"Now fight for life support of a vessel joined local services. Now all eleven crew members are lodged in hotel, customs and migratory formalities for their departure to Ukraine" began, - he told.

According to A.STEPANENKO, the crew takes off from the airport Mumbai on Saturday night, at 02:00 on the Kiev time. Arrival in the international airport "Odessa" is expected at 17:45 the same day.

As reported the UNIAN, the Radomyshl motor ship arrived to India on February 1, 2008 in an accident unseaworthy condition for sale to scrap metal. The vessel was protected and hardly was kept afloat by the Ukrainian crew from 11 people. This week UDP, having got permission of the Ministry of transport and communication of Ukraine, could realize the ship. The total cost of sale of "Radomyshl" isn't disclosed yet.
