The state property fund since the beginning of year postpones the date of implementation of investment obligations of the metallurgical companies, the deputy head of department Alexander Potimkov told. "The companies fill the budget, in fact, on them the economy keeps. Now, during crisis, in addition wrong to load they as senseless requirements", - are considered by it. Mister Potimkov reported that FGI already moved towards two companies - "To Mittal Steel-Krivoi Rog" and "A smart - groups".Department also supports a request for transfer of investment obligations of "RUSAL" which owns the Nikolaev aluminous plant.

In May of FGI and "Mittal Steel-Krivoi Rog" made changes to the contract of purchase and sale signed in October, 2005. Owners of the enterprise acquired the right to postpone implementation of investment obligations for modernization of production and increase in its capacities. Total amount of works on expansion of capacities is estimated by PHO "Metallurgprom" at $70 million

On Friday of FGI I suggested the government to postpone transfer drobilno - concentrating factory of Balaklavsky mine administration from Balaklava Bay for the Karansky plateau till 2014 (transfer was planned in 2008). In a press - service "Smart — Groups" specified that change of terms is connected with a delay of the conclusion of the contract of purchase of the equity stake of Balaklavsky mine administration. Besides, the land plot still isn't allocated that also doesn't allow to begin construction, note in the company. The total cost of works on factory movement, by data "A smart - groups", exceeds $18 million

FGI intends to support also "RUSAL" initiative about change of terms of expansion of capacities of the Nikolaev aluminous plant with 1,3 to 1,6 million tons a year, Alexander Potimkov reported."There is no sense to increase outputs if the enterprise in connection with an economic crisis and so has to work for a warehouse", - he notes. According to agreements in force, the company has to expand capacities until the end of 2009. The deputy head of FGI didn't specify yesterday, for what term is planned to postpone implementation of these obligations.
