Mister Potimkov reported that FGI already moved towards two companies - "To Mittal Steel-Krivoi Rog" and "A smart - groups".Department also supports a request for transfer of investment obligations of "RUSAL" which owns the Nikolaev aluminous plant.
In May of FGI and "Mittal Steel-Krivoi Rog" made changes to the contract of purchase and sale signed in October, 2005. Owners of the enterprise acquired the right to postpone implementation of investment obligations for modernization of production and increase in its capacities. Total amount of works on expansion of capacities is estimated by PHO "Metallurgprom" at $70 million
On Friday of FGI I suggested the government to postpone transfer drobilno - concentrating factory of Balaklavsky mine administration from Balaklava Bay for the Karansky plateau till 2014 (transfer was planned in 2008). According to agreements in force, the company has to expand capacities until the end of 2009.
