The Ukrainian industry was included in a stage of technical recession. It was declared by the head of group of advisers of National Bank Valery Litvitsky, making comments on data of Goskomstat on industrial production in 10 months. He emphasized that if anti-recessionary measures about which now it is much spoken, won't be accepted urgently, following the results of a year in the Ukrainian industry recession will be recorded.
"If the government took these measures even in the spring of 2008 when the chairman of NBU Vladimir Stelmakh for the first time declared possibility of stagflation, crisis consequences now wouldn't be so strongly expressed" - Litvitsky told.
We will remind that in October, 2008 industrial production recession for 19,8% in relation to the similar period of 2007 is recorded. Thus following the results of January - October industrial production growth in Ukraine was slowed down in comparison with January - September with 5,1 to 2,2%.
