Crisis in economy affected also growth of an average salary traditional for December - its size reached 2001 UAH, having increased by 9,7%.

Such growth rates were the smallest since 2005, and taking into account inflation the real salary of Ukrainians for the first time since 1998 decreased - by 3%. The low volume of awards of the enterprise was compensated payment by more than 600 million UAH of a debt on salaries. In 2009 experts expect preservation of dynamics of decrease in real salaries and their tenization.

The greatest growth of an average salary in December is recorded in real estate (15,3%, to 2537 UAH), trade (11,4%, to 1649 UAH), transport and communication (10,9%, to 2324 UAH); decrease - in agriculture (0,4%, to 1147 UAH). Real income most grew in Sevastopol (+16,8%) and the Nikolaev area (+13,1%); least - in Cherkassk (+3%), Lugansk (+3,6%) and Donetsk (+3,7%) areas. About it reports

Growth of salaries was accompanied by decrease in number of regular employees in the economy sphere for 2%, or for 227,8 thousand, and sharp - more than on a third - decrease in debt on salaries - on 613 million UAH, to 1,123 billion UAH. "Such decrease in total amount of debt is a little unusual - in the conditions of crisis we expected, on the contrary, the further growth of debts. But in December many enterprises, closing annual reports, nevertheless found opportunities for payments of salaries", - the expert of the Gainsfort Research company Evgenia Akhtyrko notes.

By estimates of economists, in 2009 of Ukrainians expects further decrease in level of real salaries. "Against the small growth of the nominal income high inflation in 16% will lead a minimum to decrease in real salaries for 12%", - madam Akhtyrko predicts. The analyst of IG "Socrates" Mikhail Salnikov is more optimistical: "Most likely, real salaries in a year remain at present level. Possible growth or decrease won't exceed several percent". He explains such forecast with final refusal of a binding of hryvnia salaries to dollar. Among tendencies expected on a labor market analysts focus attention to tenization of salaries. "One of ways of such tenization is formal transfer of employees to a part-time employment", - madam Akhtyrko told.Only in December the quantity working at conditions of a part-time employment increased by 27,7%, to 0,829 million. And the share of the employees who are on the terms of the compelled part-time employment, grew from 5,8% to 7,5%.
