One of the largest banks of Ukraine can request already soon support of the state in a question of recapitalization, the acting head of the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) Anatoly Shapovalov at a briefing on Wednesday reported.
"Probably, on Friday there will be one more bank … The prior consent is", - he told.
As it was reported while intention to request support from the government was declared by only large Rodovid Banka (Kiev): the question will be considered at general meeting of its shareholders on February 26.
In February-2009 director of management of bank regulation and NBU supervision Alexander Kireev declared that from group of the largest banks materials on recapitalization at the expense of the state across Ukrprombank and Nadra bank can be prepared: in both banks the temporary administration is already entered.
According to A. Shapovalov, Rodovid Banka can take part in capital building both the state, and the third-party investor. NBU prepares the relevant proposal for the government which will make a final decision.
