The association of farmers and private land owners urges the Verkhovna Rada to make changes to the law on cooperatives for service of subjects of agriculture as soon as possible.
The president of Association of farmers and private land owners Ivan Tomich reported about it at a briefing, the correspondent of RBC - Ukraine reports. According to him, the current version of the law does impossible creation of serving cooperatives as their creation isn't favorable to agricultural producers, in particular from - that for today such cooperatives have the status of the profitable enterprise that leads to the considerable tax pressure upon them.
On I.Tomich's belief, in case of adoption of law it will be possible to reduce a gap between the cost of agricultural products of the direct producer and realization cost for the end user. "For today such difference in Ukraine is the greatest in the world", - I.Tomich told.
