The competition planned for today on transfer to Palanok lock rent in Mukachev is cancelled. On the lock of the XI century there were no buyers. Close to the head of the Secretariat of the president Victor Balogi the High castle company which won earlier competition on lock rent, and then refused it, also didn't submit the application for participation in competition.
According to competition conditions, at least two companies have to take part in it. However nobody paid pledge in 3,4 thousand hryvnias", - the head of department of municipal property of the City Council Mukachevo Vitaly Kozyr explained.
We will remind, in October, 2008 competition on the right of rent of the Palanok lock was won by the High castle company, one of which founders is the spouse of the head of the Secretariat president Victor Balogi. The company intended to turn cultural - historical object into hotel. However after statements of the deputy from National Self-defense group Gennady Moskal that the decision on transfer to rent of the lock is illegal, Oksana Baloga publicly refused the project. "Three months ago Nikolay Tomenko and Yury Lutsenko declared that there will be companies which will be interested in rent the lock, but as we see, their words didn't develop into real actions", - the People's Deputy Vasily Petyovka makes comments, whose spouse also is the cofounder of "High castle".
According to conditions of new competition, the cost of rent of the lock from 2010 to 2056 was increased by the period with 10 to 17 million hryvnias. Thus the investor can monthly bring only 15% of a rent money, the municipality is ready to receive the rest investments into city economy. However to find the investor, the city authorities are ready to go for change of conditions of competition. "The city has no money for lock reconstruction therefore the city council will reconsider a lease term. At the end of the month session where the decision on object" will be made will take place, - the deputy of the City Council from "WELL - NANOSECOND" Igor Bugaysky explains.
On the maintenance of the Palanok lock in a year about one million hryvnias from which 60% of funds are allocated by the city budget, other 40% the lock leaves earns independently from sale of tickets.
