The president Victor Yushchenko supports creation in Ukraine of a two-chamber parliament.
He declared it on air of the 5th channel.
"Obviously, we have to raise a question of the upper house of the Ukrainian parliament. To chamber which would give the answer to representation of territories, the representation of regions", - was told by Yushchenko.
"I am convinced that each territory would like to know that it has three deputies who are presented in the upper house which represent the territory and through them the territory can carry out contact between the higher authority and the territory", - the president noted.
"The upper house it isn't simple body of representation, it is that body which gives stability to those institutes of the state which don't enter competence of the lower house", - he declared.
Responding to the remark of the leader that the two-chamber parliament characteristic for the federal countries, marked out Yushchenko: "Isn't present. It not so". Yushchenko gave examples of France, Italy, Kazakhstan and other countries.
