The prime minister - the minister of Ukraine Yulia Timoshenko emphasizes that declaration signing Brussels and Kiev didn't deprive Russia opportunity to participate in modernization of the Ukrainian GTS.
"It isn't necessary to perceive here that something bad was made concerning Russia (on Monday in Brussels). Russia can take part, as well as others, in investment projects, can take part in reconstruction and modernization. It was declared yesterday also by mister Barroso (the president of the European commission), and eurocommissioners, and I personally", - told Yu. Tymoshenko at a briefing on Tuesday in Kiev.
"However I once again want to emphasize: fundamental interest of Ukraine in the power sphere was protected for many decades forward", - she declared, having added: "Yesterday Europe and Russia, and simply Ukraine didn't lose protected the national interests, adequately and accurately, protected the trunk transit gas main".
