Gritsenko suggests to grant a vote on elections to pregnant senior pupils

Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada, member of fraction of the "Our Ukraine — National Self-defense" BlockAnatoly Gritsenkoconsiders expedient discussion on granting a vote on elections to the citizens who have reached 16 - summer age.

He told about it on a press - conferences.

"We need to think over that, probably, at modification of the Constitution to carry out serious discussion if there is the general support, to study opinion of society and, probably, to grant the right to take part in vote by that who was 16 years old", - he told.

GritsenkoI reminded that Ukrainians receive the passport, so, actually become full citizens, in 16 years.

"As the youth has very broad access to information, and becomes more and more active and informed, probably, it would be possible to attract youth and thus", - he added.

At the same time the parliamentarian noted that personally yet didn't decide on expediency of such innovation.

According to the Constitution, the vote is provided to Ukrainians after achievement 18 - summer age.
