Yushchenko departed to protect the Carpathians

The president Victor Yushchenko left for Hungary with two-day official visit for meetings with the authorities.

During visit Yushchenko's meeting with the President of Hungary László Sólyom and the prime minister - the minister of the country Gordon Bajnai is planned.

During negotiations of the party intend to discuss deepening of bilateral cooperation in humanitarian, economic and power spheres, and also cooperation on development of transport infrastructure both on joint border, and within construction 5 European transport corridors.

Also during negotiations questions of the European and euroatlantic integration of Ukraine, ecological safety and protection of the nature of the Carpathians will be discussed.

As it was reported, Yushchenko cancelled visit to Hungary which was planned for January 12, from - for need of the solution of questions on renewal of transit of the Russian gas to Europe.
