The speaker Vladimir Litvin urges not to tighten with the solution of a question on date of presidential elections and is ready to submit for consideration the resolution on their carrying out on January 17, 2010.
"When I will receive the decision of the Constitutional court, I will give an assignment to profile committee to prepare the relevant resolution if it it isn't made, I will introduce the resolution. Why to pull? Date (elections) is obvious, and it can be one - on January 17, 2010", - Litvin told journalists in Petersburg on Thursday, reports "Interfax - Ukraine".
Thus he found it difficult to designate date when the Verkhovna Rada can consider the relevant resolution.
"I consider that among other things it is necessary to make one more decision: it is necessary to record date when the Verkhovna Rada is obliged to consider changes in the law on presidential elections because without these changes of sense them won't carry out", - Litvin told.
He also once again emphasized that it is necessary to reduce terms of election campaign.
"Now officially it at us 120 days, and are necessary that there were at most 90 days, but taking into account an economic situation, it seems to me, it is necessary to be limited of 70 days", - he added.
