On May 15 in the city of Nikolaev near a monument to victims of Famine-Genocide and political repressions the memorial actions devoted to Day of memory of victims of political repressions took place.

These events were held on implementation of the Decree of the President to Ukraine No. 271/2009 - "About carrying out in 2009 of Day of memory of victims of political repressions".

The gathered observed a minute of silence in memory of victims of political repression and flower-laying to the Memorial of victims of Famine-Genocide and political repressions.

In these actions took part the management of Regional Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in the Nikolaev area, headed by the chief of Regional Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine at the Nikolaev area militia colonel Vladimir Uvarov. The chief of the Nikolaev municipal government of militia Evgeny Sureev was noticed also.

I didn't ignore action and the Nikolaev mayor Vladimir Chaika. And here heads of area why - that, instead of itself sent deputies. Instead of the chairman of the Nikolaev regional council Tatyana Demchenko Vladimir Pashchenko came to honor memory of victims of political repressions. And from regional administration, instead of the first person, I was present vice-the governor Dmitry Oboronko.

If Tatyana Demchenko has it "the first truancy" lately (all remember her "ardent speeches" when soldiers of OUN - Unitary enterprise were called "fascist henchmen" ) here the governor Alexey Garkusha enough systematically ignores similar actions.

With what it is connected - it isn't known. Probably, he simply doesn't want to listen to that the same Tatyana Vasilyevna, after all as to the representative of a presidential branch of the power, it is necessary to answer it something speaks.
