Russia has doubts concerning opportunities Ukraine to pay for the put gas.
It was declared by the president of Russia Dmitry Medvedev on a press - conferences upon termination of the summit of the Russian Federation - EU in Khabarovsk on Friday, reports "Interfax".
"We have doubts in solvency of Ukraine", - he told.
"Partners help with this situation to the partners, and we are ready to help the Ukrainian state, but would like that the considerable part of this work would be assumed also by the European Union, that is those countries which are interested in reliability and safety of power cooperation", - Medvedev emphasized.
"I addressed to our partners in this occasion and suggested them to analyse once again opportunities with supply of gas to Ukraine", - the Russian leader noted.
According to him, now in underground storage of Ukraine rather large volume - around 19,5 billion cubic meter is subject to downloading, and it costs over $4 billion
"If the Ukrainian party has money, it is good, but we have doubts in solvency of this country", - the Russian President concluded.
Medvedev offered partners in the European Union to help Ukraine to attract a syndicated loan for ensuring supply of gas.
"If it is a question of the credits, let's help Ukraine syndicate the corresponding money, but one Russia, at the end - the ends has to be engaged in it not, not we have problems with solvency", - the Russian President emphasized.
