PresidentVictor YushchenkoI stopped the decision of the government on sale of coal-mining mines at open auction.
The relevant decree is published on the website of the president.
"The called resolution of the Cabinet doesn't answer the Constitution", - is emphasized in the decree.
Yushchenko reminds that in the law "About Privatization of the State Property" it is specified that objects which have nation-wide value aren't subject to privatization, in particular and coal mines.
"Adoption of laws and the approval of the list of objects of the right of state ownership which privatizations aren't subject, the Constitution of Ukraine is referred to powers of the Verkhovna Rada which is the only regulatory authority", - the president specifies.
"Therefore, and entering of any changes into the list of objects of the right of state ownership which privatizations aren't subject, including the exception of it corresponding objects for the purpose of further sale, can be carried out by exclusively Verkhovna Rada by adoption of laws", - is spoken in the decree.
Yushchenko also addressed with idea of illegality of the decision of the government in KS.
