Two pedestrians were brought down yesterday, on August 26, by the driver of the Opel Omega car with the state numbers in Lviv, on Pasechnoy Street. Road accident happened in the evening, around 21.00.
According to indications of the eyewitnesses, two pedestrians of advanced years, the man and the woman, crossed Pasechnuyu Street on the crosswalk, near a stop of shuttle buses.
The driver of "Opel" brought down at once two people. Obviously, and the speed of the car was rather considerable because "Opel" could stop only more than for 20 meters from transition. Thus the blow was so powerful that the car still had considerable dent on a cowl and the bumper was displaced. But the main force of blow fell on the windshield which half cracked and bent inside. On transition there was a bag of the victim and blood traces. The broken parts of the car and the remains of footwear of victims dissipated on all brake way of the car.
To the place of an event there arrived the fast. Injuries of the man were more slight, managed head bandaging. Physicians more than half an hour brought the woman into consciousness. As it became known, the car with these state numbers belongs to "Oshchadbank". The car driver waited while the woman will recover to write down her data. Then victims carried to hospital. To make out road accident there were employees of GAI.
