As the correspondent of the UNIAN reports, the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Vladimir HANDOGY reported about it yesterday at a briefing after meeting of ambassadors.
"the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as well as other interested and involved establishments, works over as soon as possible to release our hostages", - V. HANDOGY told.

As reported the UNIAN, the Ariana bulk ship was captured by pirates on the night of May 2. "Ariana's" owner - the Tandela Shiping company registered on Malta. In captivity pirates have a crew as a part of 24 Ukrainians, inhabitants of the Odessa and Nikolaev areas. For vessel release pirates demanded 10 million dale earlier.
