The Verkhovna Rada couldn't overcome the veto of the President Victor Yushchenko on the law on introduction for crisis of the moratorium on rise in prices for medicines of domestic and foreign production.
218 deputies voted for making decision on overcoming of the veto at necessary 300.
Besides, 8 parliamentarians voted for Yushchenko's proposal to reject the relevant law.
Thus, the law "About the Moratorium on Rise in Prices and Tariffs for Medicines and Products of Medical Appointment" adopted on October 20 is considered rejected.
As it was reported, on October 20 Rada adopted as a whole the bill 3426 with which established that the prices of medicines of a domestic production are regulated by the state, foreign - are realized at the prices which developed as of July 1, 2008.
Yushchenko in November vetoed this law.
According to the President, the moratorium is economically unreasonable and can lead to disappearance from the address of some medicines, to emergence of the forged drugs and distribution of illicit import of these goods.
