On Friday, December 18, I took place a press - conference of the head of the Nikolaev regional campaign headquarters of V. Yushchenko, Alexander Sadykov.
Press - conference was devoted to changes of ratings of the main applicants for presidency. Alexander Sadykov announced results of the All-Ukrainian survey conducted by Institute of strategic researches on December 1-5, 2009.
If elections were held on the next Sunday, results would be the following:
32,7% would vote for V. Yanukovych
for Yu. Tymoshenko - 18,8%
for V. Yushchenko - 9,5%
for A. Yatsenyuk - 8,5%
for S. Tigipko - 8%
for V. Litvin - 6%
for P. Simonenko - 5,9%
for O. Tyahnybok - 3,9%
for A. Gritsenko - 2,1%
for A. Moroz - 1,6%
Alexander Sadykov paid attention of journalists to dynamics of a rating of Victor Yushchenko which for some months increased more than three times. Considering that till the election day there was a month, preservation of such dynamics allows the incumbent president to leave in the second round of elections. At the same time, the Prime minister - the Minister of Ukraine Yulia Timoshenko became the leader on decrease in a rating.
Among the reasons which have caused so prompt growth of a rating of V. Yushchenko, the head of the Nikolaev regional staff called the following: Yushchenko, unlike all other candidates doesn't change the views and belief and is the most consecutive in upholding of national interests of Ukraine; he confirmed the commitment to reforms; important role that played also Yushchenko - only of candidates who publicly, openly recognizes the miscalculations and mistakes. By the way, he considers as one of such mistakes Yu. Tymoshenko's appointment to Premyer_ministr's position.
"I consider that there came a turning point in election campaign" - Alexander Sadykov declared, and added that a task which faces now V. Yushchenko's campaign headquarters - an exit in the second round.
