Migratory threat from Ukraine often overestimate – Frontier service

In Europe level of illegal migration from the Ukrainian border continue to consider high while the frontier service reports about reduction of number of illegal immigrants.

The chairman of State frontier service Nikolay Litvin and the Secretary of State of the Federal Ministry of Internal Affairs of Germany Peter Altmajer came to a conclusion that level of threat of illegal migration from Ukraine is overestimated.

Litvin told the German colleague about decrease in number of the illegal immigrants, trying to get to Europe "east direction" through the territory of Ukraine.

Altmayer, in turn, emphasized that EU countries need to fight against the developed stereotype about Ukraine as to the channel of penetration of illegal immigrants to Europe. According to him, earlier similar situation was observed in the Czech Republic and Poland.

We will remind, the head of the Ukrainian Ministry of Internal Affairs Yury Lutsenko intends to submit repeatedly for consideration of the Cabinet of Ukraine a question of submission of State department of migratory service it to department.

On June 18 the Cabinet of Ministers authorized the Ministry of Internal Affairs to be engaged in migration. However on July 21 Yushchenko suspended this resolution of Cabinet of Ministers, having motivated it with that it contradicts the Constitution.

On July 30 the Cabinet of Ministers repeatedly authorized the Ministry of Internal Affairs to be engaged in migration, but Yushchenko suspended it repeatedly.
