The chairman of Committee of voters of Ukraine Igor Popov considers that before carrying out possible early elections it is necessary to carry out rotation of members of the Central Election Commission to parliament. He declared it today on a press - conferences in a press - the RBC center - Ukraine. "In Central Election Commission which was formed by the political principle in 2007, the balance of forces is broken. There Blok of Litvin isn't presented, but there is a representative of non-parliamentary SPU. These and other bases can result in bias of the Central Election Commission at adoption of any decisions", - I. Popov told.
According to the chairman of KIU, without acceptance by the Verkhovna Rada of changes in the law on the state register legitimacy of any elections can be called into question. It reminded that the Central Election Commission has to create the state register of voters till October 1 of this year. "But it is clear that till October 1 of anything it won't be made, after all the Constitutional court blocked process of formation of the register... That is, in case of elections this winter they will be carried out without use of the state register of voters with all corresponding problems. In our opinion, snap parliamentary and local elections can't be held without corresponding changes in the law on the state register of voters", - I. Popov told.
