The Verkhovna Rada refused to allow repayment of the currency credits by hryvnias.
219 deputies voted for acceptance in the first reading the bill No. 3517 at necessary 226, thus the parliament refused to direct this bill on repeated first reading.
This bill was developed by the Cabinet, report Ukrainian news.
In particular, Rada refused to allow borrowers to carry out repayment of the financial credits obtained in foreign currency, in national currency at the rate which is determined by a mutual consent of the parties, but not below an official exchange (exchange) rate of the National Bank operating on the date of receipt of such credit.
Rada also refused to specify the formation and reference mechanism on expenses of an insurance reserve of banks of 80% (till January 1, 2010 - 100%).
As it was reported, the head of council of NBU Pyotr Poroshenko predicts permission of National Bank to borrowers to repay percent on the currency credits in hryvnias.
