The mayor of Kiev Leonid Chernovetsky considers superfluous attention of Antimonopoly committee to city problems.
He told about it to journalists.
According to him, he made the statement for intention to lower tariffs for journey in city transport, having given in to charm of the acting as the chairman of AMKU Alexander Melnichenko.
However, according to the mayor, after the solution of problems with tariffs for Melnichenko Drive continues to call it concerning other problems, in particular, about creation of city pathoanatomical bureau.
"He me calls (Melnichenko) every day, something is interested, asks, antimonopoly investigation wants again. Let him know that to me its antimonopoly investigations to a bulb", - were told by the mayor.
He added that while believes in Melnichenko's decency.
"If he plays about, I will declare him dishonourable, and in general I won't meet him", - Chernovetsky noted.
As it was reported, on November 4, 2008 Kiev municipal administration raised tariffs for journey to 3-4 times to 1,5-2 hryvnia/trip.
After investigation of economic validity of their increase the working group of Cabinet of Ministers recommended to Kiev to establish tariffs 0,8-1 hryvnia/trip, and AMKU initiated proceedings against Kiev municipal administration, the municipal enterprises "Kiev Subway" and "Kiyevpastrans" for signs of violation of the competitive legislation.
In January Kiev declared intention to lower tariffs for journey to 1,5-1,7 hryvnia/trip.
