The president of Germany Joachim Gauck asks the Ukrainian colleague Victor Yanukovych to release ex-the prime minister Yulia Timoshenko.
Gauck's speaker reported about it on the eve of a meeting of presidents of Poland, Germany, Italy and Ukraine in Krakow on October 7, transfers «Mirror of week».
- The federal president will persistently emphasize that the more long concerning Yulia Timoshenko there is no accurate decision, the more threat hangs over signing of the agreement on association at the summit in Vilnius, - he told.
According to the speaker, for the president Gauck the solution of this problem is a barometer of that, and credible efforts of administration of Yanukovych on development of democracy and the constitutional state are how serious.
Thus in office of the German president noted that to the head of state it is important not only Tymoshenko's destiny, and and a question of the constitutional state, observance of human rights and democratic standards in Ukraine as a whole.
- In all these spheres for today Ukraine doesn't conform to necessary standards, - note in Berlin.
At the same time, into the Berlin clinic «You rummage» , which doctors already long time advise Tymoshenko, reported that the offer to treat ex-a premiere in the capital of Germany remains in force. However, information on Tymoshenko's arrival in clinic while isn't present.
Meanwhile the representative of the government of Germany reminded on October 7 that the federal government is ready to organize Tymoshenko's arrival to Berlin, and will be «it is ready to work quickly» , if the Ukrainian party gives the chance to leave it on treatment in Germany.
So, the government in Berlin urged Yanukovych to pardon again Tymoshenko.
- We expect that the Ukrainian party will make that depends on it to make possible a fast solution, - the representative of the government declared.
