Tymoshenko promises not to raise taxes

The cabinet initiates introduction of the moratorium on increase of taxes for small and medium business in the period of an economic crisis.

The prime minister declared a press it on Monday - the minister Yulia Timoshenko on joint - conferences with vice-the president of the European Commission Günter Verheugen, reports Liga.Net.

"I after today's communication with mister vice-the president of the European Commission, think that the government at the next meeting will consider the bill of introduction of the moratorium on the period of world financial crisis on any increases of taxes for small and medium business, including at local level", - told Tymoshenko.

The prime minister noted that it is necessary to liquidate threat from local officials concerning possibility of introduction of surtaxes and collecting from businessmen of small and medium business.

Tymoshenko is sure that it is necessary to approach to debureaucratization of this sphere rigidly. "We should approach more rigidly once again to a razbyurokratization question, that is, deregulation of small and medium business from officials of all types and levels", - the prime minister - the minister noted.
