Aker Yards is compelled to postpone the transaction on sale of 70% of actions of the subsidiary - Aker Yards Ukraine Holding - to the Russian fund FLC West as still I didn't receive a consent of Antimonopoly committee of Ukraine, is spoken in the message of the Norwegian shipbuilding company for investors, the Businessman - Ukraine" reports ". The company already got permission to sale of the assets in Germany, the senior vice-the president of Aker Yards Torbyorn Andersen notes. Antimonopoly committee - the only department which detains sale. According to T. Andersen, permission had to be given out still on June 3 as the company filed all necessary documents at the beginning of May.
In AMKU confirmed that still didn't make the decision concerning the transaction between Aker Yards and FLC West. Specialists of committee prepared additional questions of the Norwegian company and directed them in official inquiry on June 9. In particular, they ask to specify commodity groups which the company issues, the list of consumers of this production in Ukraine and its interchangeability. "After receiving from applicants of full information which will give the chance to estimate accurately all consequences for the competition from this concentration, the committee will make the relevant decision. But while required data in committee didn't arrive", - declared in a press - service AMKU.
We will remind, in March of Aker Yards sold the shipyards in Wismar and Varnemyunda (Germany), and also 70% of the stocks Aker Yards Ukraine Holding for the Russian investment fund FLC West for 291,9 million euros. After the announcement of sale of these assets of the stock Aker Yards grew by 23,5%. The yesterday's message of the company wasn't reflected in quotations.
