The delegation of experts from member countries and partners of NATO checks readiness of crews of the ships of the Ukrainian Naval Forces to carry out tasks of alliance standards.
The director of the Center of assistance Sergey Kulik says to studying of geopolitical problems and the euroatlantic cooperation of the Black Sea region of "HOMOC" that the Ukrainian seamen are able to work for a long time according to standards of North Atlantic alliance.
Almost all operating fighting ships of Naval Forces of Ukraine are ready to work according to standards of NATO and check of specialists of alliance once again has to confirm it, he told in interview to "The German wave".
"Today five ships passed certification, passed the corresponding tests and are able to work according to standards of NATO is a frigate "Hetman Sagaydachny", corvettes "Lutsk" and "Ternopol", the management ship "Slavutich" and the landing ship "Konstantin Olshansky", - Kulik notes.
According to him, despite problems which military seamen, in particular, insufficient financing of the Ukrainian fleet constantly face, preparation of crews remains high.
Large role in it play also NATO member states which constantly take on training of the Ukrainian officers, the expert notes.
Besides, Kulik considers, continuous participation of the Ukrainian ships in the international military exercises and operations which are performed together with fleet of the countries of NATO is of great importance for support of defense capability of Naval Forces of Ukraine also.
