The sea trade ports of Ukraine in 10 months of this year reduced transfer of freights by 20%, in comparison with the similar period of 2008, - to 89,12 million tons. About this UNIAN reported in Public administration of sea and river transport.
In particular, only two ports showed positive dynamics, in comparison with 10 months 2008, the others lowered indicators. The Kerch sea trade port increased cargo transfer by 8,1% - to 3,76 million tons, the Sevastopol sea trade port - for 2% - to 0,33 million tons.
Thus transfer of transit freights in 10 months was reduced by 29,5% - to 30,34 million tons.
As it was reported, the sea trade ports of Ukraine for January - September, 2009 reduced cargo transfer by 21%, in comparison with the similar period of 2008, - from 101 million 395 thousand tons to 80 million 78 thousand tons.
The general cargo transfer of the ports of Ukraine in 2008 made 132 million 178 thousand tons that is 7% more than an indicator of 2007. In particular, transfer of freights for export grew by 12%, in comparison with 2007, - to 60 million 196 thousand tons, for import - for 21% - to 15 million 132 thousand tons.
The highest indicators for all history of activity in 2008 showed the Odessa sea trade port - 34 million 562 thousand tons and the Nikolaev sea trade port - 9 million 254 thousand tons. The greatest indicator for years of independence of Ukraine reached the Kherson sea trade port - 4 million 264 thousand tons.
