As we reported earlier, in the territory of the ancient ancient settlement the Wild Garden the Nikolaev archeologists found a treasure of Celts (13 pieces), found one more Celt later. After arrival to Nikolaev Kiev experts, the history of the Wild Garden became more accurate.
- The last found Celt isn't connected in any way with a treasure, - the chief archeologist of the city Kirill Gorbenko told, - it lay in absolutely other place, in No. 17, practically at the level of a floor. In a form it differs from those Celts who were found in a treasure. If in a treasure four types are traced, this Celt represents type the bezushkovykh. Direct analogies this Celt can find in the territory of the Central Ukraine, it approximately Podneprovye's average, on steppe and forest-steppe border.
As Kirill Gorbenko told, this find gives one more point of distribution of influence of the Wild Garden. In a treasure there are western samples of Celts (the western contacts), there are east and northern samples.
In the territory of the South of Ukraine archeologists saw the lands which are under control to the Wild Garden.
- If to take Nikolaev (the Wild Garden) as the central point, - the chief archeologist told, - that to Dnestr such Celts aren't present, them find from Dnestr further. From East side they are from Dnepr and to the east, and also there are no Celts to forest-steppe border in the north, after it Celts find. In this circle anything isn't present. That is, we can say that this territory (in a radius about 250 km from the Wild Garden) was controlled by inhabitants of the Wild Garden. And the Wild Garden carried out a role of a peculiar capital of this territory. Because in this territory the Wild Garden - the only ancient settlement, протогород. All other districts represented agricultural settlements, temporary settlements where there lived the semi-nomadic population. Such breeding association (Wild Garden) occupied the territory approximately the Nikolaev area and the southern part of Odessa region. That is, the Wild Garden was the regional center of an era of final bronze.
Conclusions of archeologists are confirmed by one more find - the vessel which neck is sideways.
- Track from the Kiev institute of archeology helped to find analogies of this ballot box in the territory of Baltic, - the archeologist told.- There are analogies in Northern Greece on the Balkans, in Baltic. It speaks about contacts between the territory of Baltic and Northern Greece. In the ancient time, in a bronze age, there was an amber trade way (analogy to a silk way). It conducted from Baltic to the south. And here the Wild Garden just was such trading station (the big trade settlement) on this way. The wild Garden supported communications with distant territories: Northern Kazakhstan, Baltic, Central Europe, Asia Minor, Northern Greece. Colleagues from Kiev confirm that character of rooms, character of defensive rooms, an arrangement of stone layings, ceramics, Celts specify that is the monument similar to Troy. Troy was much. And so the Wild Garden is similar to Troy eras of Trojan war - Troy VII B 2. Our city is similar to it on architecture, on material culture and on time in which both cities existed. The found Celts treat an early stage of formation of beloozersky culture (13 eyelids). And Troy destroyed in the second half of the 13th eyelid, that is when already Wild Garden existed. Troy was destroyed, and the Wild Garden remained the center of Black Sea Coast. It existed in 12 and in the 11th century, and, maybe, even also in 10.
Troy controlled a trade way which conducted to Mycenaean Greece. And that function was carried out by the Wild Garden: trade, control over trade ways which went west from the East, from the North to the south and back, from the West to the east, from the South to the north. From here and defense system: when to the Wild Garden there came merchants, they came with riches, they needed to be protected. From here and such dense building, and such ceramics of different cultures, and these Celts of different types who are brought together in one place and which could carry out function of a certain wealth.
